About Us.
Mountain Strings Zipline guided tours are among the 11 most fantastic things to do in Mpumalanga.
Totaling 1.7km, our seven ziplines take you through breathtaking views of the Mpumalanga mountains and the lush forest below.
We are located just off the N4 on the outskirts of Waterval Onder's scenic town, only a 10-minute drive from Waterval Boven and 55 minutes from Nelspruit / Mbombela.
You can expect to experience the tranquility of the majestic mountains and lush forest that this part of Mpumalanga is known for.
Ample birds and wildlife species roam free, and you might be lucky to catch a glimpse of the endangered Maccoa Duck.

Is it Safe?
Yes, it is very safe.
We maintain very high safety standards. Our Zipline is designed and built to the highest engineering specifications
Is there any restriction to do the tour?
We allow persons six years and older and those weighing at least 35kg.
However, if someone younger or lighter than the mentioned limitations wants to do the tour, they will go in tandem with a guide.
How long does the tour take?
From start to finish, it takes about 2-3 hours with ample time to admire the scenery and take spectacular photos to enjoy for years to come
Do I need to book?
Bookings are essential.
We value your time and do not want you waiting on us while we help making great memories with someone else.
How many people can go in a group?
To make your trip as memorable as possible we limit the size of the group to 16 people.
If however you are a larger group, please notify us in the special request when submitting your booking?
How much does it cost?
For a small fee of R600 per person the experience is priceless.
What's included?
We supply all safety equipment, an icy-cold bottle of water halfway to quench your thirst and a divine pancake with a filling of choice when you reach the end.
What should I bring?
Remember your camera and sunscreen!
We recommend that you wear comfortable clothes and shoes for the zipline rides and short hikes between stations.
Bring a jacket when you are sensitive to cooler weather.
A small backpack is always handy for carrying stuff like your cell phone and jacket.
